Eco-informed design

At Óskabein, our unwavering commitment to sustainability is at the very core of everything we do and create. We prioritize the thoughtful use of cast-aluminum hardware instead of plastic whenever possible, ensuring enhanced durability and significantly reducing waste in the process.

Our carefully curated selection of vegetable-tanned leather is sourced from ecologically sound methods that reflect our dedication to responsible and ethical practices. Furthermore, the durable exterior fabric of all our bags is woven in Connecticut, USA and constructed with recycled North East ocean plastic, actively contributing to the essential cleanup of our beautiful waterways.

In addition, our studio is naturally lit by sunlight, thereby effectively reducing energy consumption, and all leather working is meticulously executed with hand tools, completely eliminating the need for machines.

Every detail of the Motopack begins with our dedicated, highly skilled team, where the design language and aesthetic direction are first defined. Through a full year of creative prototyping and rigorous real-world testing, that vision was refined and engineered into the Motopack V1.0—a product shaped by intention, iteration, and performance.

Hand-drawn & crafted

A vertical operation

Every prototype we’ve created and tested was made by hand in our Brooklyn studio and the final versions will be produced within the USA. This commitment to in-house sampling and domestic manufacturing empowers us to experiment with innovative techniques, advanced technologies, and unique materials - all with an intimate connection to every step of the process.

The artisans we’ve partnered with possess exceptional technical skills and a dedication to their craft, ensuring that each item reflects the highest standards of quality and creativity.
